Biography

Born in East Tennessee in the shadow of the Appalachians, I grew up on the river as Tom Sawyer might have. I was in the water from late March through early November, swimming and fishing and walking along the receded banks at winter. The son of an Engineer and an Artist, Architecture is a balance of the two minds in me.

Philosophy

Empathy, elegance, and equity are ever evolving design manifesto ideas I live by. Empathy is observation, understanding, and listening. Elegance is a careful arrangement; a well-considered simplicity that is pleasingly graceful. Equity is creating design with a Social Conscious above all else.
